He is a founding member of Objective Clay and the creator of the Hudson Valley Pottery Tour. His work has been featured in national publications and is collected by ceramics enthusiasts across the country.

Doug is a dedicated father of three, a full-time studio artist, and an active teacher, offering workshops both locally and nationally. His classes encourage students to explore craftsmanship, form, and surface design while developing a personal approach to pottery.
